Making it city defense bonusses is logic from a business standpoint, because it's useless now.īut it's still useless because no one who does the math will add it in their city. So they didn't make it hard, they made it impossible. Space wise it is actually impossible to have enough bonus for both attacking army and city defense to be able to finish the guild expedition by fighting. Players once again have a reason to glamor at the new shiny event buildings with just the stats they’re looking for. Incentive to buy additional event building returns for players who wish to rush things along. Then slowly over time release event buildings with the right stats alignments to allow players to slowly overcome the new challenge. Introduce even harder end game content such that current buildings are impossible to achieve effectively. The incentive to spend money to buy additional buildings become less. We’ve reached a point where even free players are steam rolling “end game” content because they’ve planted enough capable event buildings. Otherwise, the game would be boring if event buildings are not worth working towards. Over the years, every subsequent event building slowly increment in stats over previous event buildings. Only those with thick wallets can buy additional event buildings to overcome the challenges. At the start of a cycle, everyone is incapable of completing “end game” content. ![]()
